Canteen

Bullimbal School does not have a canteen facility.

Healthy eating is important at Bullimbal School. Students bring their own healthy snacks and meals from home. Refrigeration and microwaves are available in each classroom and students are supported to heat their meal when required.

Breakfast Club at Bullimbal

Breakfast Club at Bullimbal, has quickly become a favourite among students, who not only enjoy a hearty meal but also take pride in preparing and serving breakfast to their peers. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to develop teamwork and leadership skills, all while fostering a sense of community. The generosity of our sponsors is an integral part of the club’s success—without their ongoing support and contributions, we wouldn’t be able to offer this valuable program. Their involvement ensures that every student can start their day with a nutritious meal and a positive experience.

Fundraiser Lunch Order Days

Each year, our senior students work together to plan and carry out fundraisers to raise money for the Year 12 Graduation. Students enjoy running a lunch sale fundraiser each term where they cook a range of food for everyone to enjoy. To achieve this, students practise a range of communication skills including negotiating the menu options, working collaboratively to create notes to send home for parents and developing conflict resolution skills. Students practise collecting and collating data and graphing each person's purchases. This supports them to understand the real-world applications of data. They also learn to  develop visual budgets as well as budgets created in Excel showing the income, expenditure and amount raised from each event. Students practise using Microsoft Word and Canva to create colour-coded visuals for each class showing all of the orders, allows them to run the fundraiser with minimal support from staff. The fundraising events provide students with the opportunity to enhance their literacy, numeracy and communication skills and run an event as autonomously as possible.
